Book Project:

I am currently in the process of writing an introductory text book on statistics, entitled Statistical Thinking: Introduction to Probabilistic Data Analysis. This book is based on lecture notes of the courses on the foundation of machine learning and statistics I have taught at the Unversity of Leipzig (2007, 2008, 2009).

As the coming winter term 2009 and the book progresses, you will find on this page a detailed outline of the book along with draft chapters for download and study.

Comments are welcome!
